Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing charity events and fundraising initiatives
- Support event logistics, including setup, registration, volunteer coordination, and breakdown
- Engage with donors, sponsors, and participants to create a positive event experience
- Help create, edit, and distribute event communications and promotional materials
- Track and report on event attendance, performance, and fundraising outcomes
- Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to align events with organizational goals
- Participate in post-event evaluations and provide ideas for future improvements
- Passion for community service, nonprofit work, and event planning
- Strong organization, multitasking, and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Positive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in event management, nonprofit studies, or communications preferred
- Previous volunteer or event experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience in charity and nonprofit event planning
