RN Home Health Field Nurse | Louisville, KY

Part-Time Weekends Position (2 weekends/Month – Sat & Sun)
8-Hour Shifts | Guaranteed Wage – 4 Hours Per Day | $32–$38/hr

Immediate need for an experienced RN to provide one-on-one skilled home health visits for pediatric through adult patients in the field.

Bright Star Care Louisville is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one home health care in the field, visiting multiple patients daily ranging in age from infants and adolescents to young adults and seniors. Enjoy a flexible schedule while delivering skilled bedside care, including G-tube, trach, vent, suprapubic catheter care, lab draws, wound care, infusions, ostomy care, port access, and IV starts.

Requirements:

• Current unrestricted RN license in Kentucky
• Certified BLS and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required with bedside care or home health preferred.
• Pediatric Experience preferred
• Experience with lab draws, wound care, infusions, ostomy care, port access, IV starts and more.
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Note:

compensation may vary based on skill, experience and location.

Standard shift:

• 8AM-4PM or 9AM-5PM / Guaranteed Wage 4 hours Sat and 4 hours Sunday

Weekly schedule:

• 2 Weekends/month | Sat & Sun

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Louisville, KY:
  Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Pediatric Experience (Preferred)
• Experience with lab draws, wound care, infusions, ostomy care, port access, IV starts and more.

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Required)
• RN (Required)
