Home of the Innocents is seeking a dedicated RN, Clinical Education Onboarding Coordinator to support our Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center. In this role, you'll help lead onboarding, training, and competency development for team members while fostering a culture of learning, engagement, and professional growth. ADay in the Life
As the Clinical Education Onboarding Coordinator, you'll help plan, facilitate, and oversee onboarding and training experiences for KCC team members. You'll collaborate with Clinical Nurse Educators, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to support competency development, regulatory compliance, and team member retention while ensuring staff are prepared to provide high-quality, compassionate care to medically complex children and young adults.
Schedule: Full-time, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, non-exempt position. Flexibility is required to support a multi-shift workforce, evenings, weekends or holidays as needed.
How This Position Contributes to Our Mission- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and competency-based training programs
- Support new team members throughout orientation and onboarding
- Train and guide preceptors to ensure evidence-based clinical practice
- Collaborate with colleges and universities to support clinical rotations
- Maintain accurate training records and regulatory documentation
- Support professional development, retention, and learning initiatives
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Current, unencumbered Kentucky RN license
- Minimum of two years of RN experience in acute care or long-term care
- Current CPR/BLS certification and BLS Instructor certification (provided if needed)
- Strong communication, organization, and training skills
- Experience with learning management systems and electronic documentation
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment
- Clinical education, pediatric, or professional development experience preferred
