U of L Rehab Hospital Frazier Brownsboro is part of Lifepoint Health and provides acute rehabilitation care. As a Registered Nurse you will support patient recovery, or as a Licensed Practical Nurse you will provide direct patient care under RN supervision.

• Administer medications safely, accurately, and based on patient age and clinical condition.
• Minimize potential for medication errors by following proper medication administration procedures.
• Assist the RN with initial assessments and patient reassessments per policy.
• Identify and implement appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.
• Perform timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments under RN supervision.
• Deliver care based on patient response to treatment and update the interdisciplinary plan accordingly.
• Assess and reassess pain; use appropriate pain management techniques and educate patients and families.
• Perform all patient care tasks in a manner that promotes patient safety and reduces medical errors.
• Develop and implement individualized teaching plans based on patient and family learning needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• LPN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required. IV certification highly preferred or must be obtained within 6 months.
• Minimum of six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
