WANDER STAFFING seeks to add twenty-three (23) Certified Nursing Assistants to our Team! These positions are located at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center, located at 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206.

Weekday Day: $22.25
Weekday Evening: $24.25
Weekday Night: $26.25
Weekend Day: $25.25
Weekend Evening: $27.25
Weekend Night: $28.25
Holiday Day: $26.25
Holiday Evening: $28.25

Note:

The duration of the contract is between the government and Wander Staffing. As with any position, if life requires you to leave, please provide a 60-day notice.

• Current, valid, unrestricted CNA license in any US State
• BLS
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to pass a federal background check
• CNAs must have one (1)-year experience within the last three (3) years.
• Copy of current TB testing and results within the past 12 months and then annually
• Completed Fingerprint Information Form (will be provided by VA), Record of current Hepatitis B vaccination or declination form.

Monday – Sunday
Shift times are as follows:
7:00am-3:30pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm, 11:00pm-7:00am
7:00am-7:00pm, 7:00pm-7:00am

• Provide close observation of patients. Document on patient's observation flow sheet hourly or as directed by RN to document patient behavior, Activity of Daily Living, and physical care.
• Delivery of direct patient care to include personal hygiene care (bathing, dressing, toileting), assistance with meals, lifting and moving, and assistance with ambulation.
• Ability to assist in the full range of nursing care to patients/residents with physical and/or behavioral problems in a hospital, long term care setting under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or Licensed Vocational Nurse Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Ability to communicate orally with patients/residents, families, interdisciplinary team and other personnel.
• Ability to recognize and react to emergent patient/resident care situations and intervene while waiting for assistance.
• Report changes in mental or physical status immediately to assigned nurse/charge nurse.
