Since 1985, The Brook Hospitals have been providing quality mental health and addiction treatment services in Louisville, Kentucky. The Brook - KMI is a 110‑bed hospital offering a continuum of inpatient, extended care, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children, adolescents, and adults. Our patients are referred directly by local professionals and organizations, reflecting our effectiveness in treating mental illness and addictions.
The Registered Nurse coordinates the total nursing care for patients and their families or significant others. Provides leadership and works collaboratively with other nursing service personnel to maintain standards of practice and nursing care. Assumes responsibility to assess and plan for the nursing care needs of patients and their families or significant others 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
Implements the plan of care as assigned and evaluates the effectiveness of the care given.
- This opportunity is a full-time position of 36 hours per week with rotational weekends. The work hours are from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

- Education:
- Required: Associate’s Degree from accredited school in Nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree from accredited school in Nursing.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Required: Valid RN license in State of KY or Compact State.
- Experience:
- Required: 0 – 1 year of related experience.
- Preferred: 1 – 3 years of related experience.
