Responsibilities

A professional nurse is accountable for the care of a group of patients. The Registered Nurse focuses on safe, effective patient and family‑centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes. The RN assists in maintaining a financially stable unit and promotes continuous professional development with an evidence‑based practice emphasis. The RN supervises licensed and non‑licensed staff members and applies the Kristin M.

Swanson Model of Care to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care. The RN focuses on patient and family comforts, education, and satisfaction, and mentors and precepts staff.

Required:

• No experience required for full‑time or part‑time positions. If PRN, must have one year of RN/LPN experience in an inpatient, acute‑care setting.
