Position:
School RN in a clinic setting supporting the physical, mental, and emotional well‑being of students. The role promotes health and safety, responds to medical emergencies, manages chronic conditions, and serves as a liaison between families, school staff, and healthcare providers.
Hourly rate: $30
Hours per week: 37.5
Weekly pay: $1125
Schedule:
No nights, no weekends, no holidays.
The School RN oversees the application of the nursing process and the delivery of student care in a school setting. The RN provides services in accordance with Amergis’ philosophy, standards, policies, and physician orders.
Qualifications- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- School Nurse Certification as required by state or contract
- One year of school nursing, public health, or pediatric experience (preferred)
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x‑ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
