Location: 2800 Cannons Ln, Louisville, KY 40205, USA

Shift: Day shift

Physical setting: Dental office, Operating room

• Demonstrate knowledge of age‑specific care for pediatric and adolescent patient populations.
• Possess organizational skills including prioritization, planning, assessing, implementing, evaluation, teaching, and delegating.
• Maintain effective working relationships with employees, physicians, and leadership.
• Listen and confer with personnel, practitioners, patients, parents, and the public.
• Work effectively as a team member and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
• Act efficiently and rationally in any emergency.
• Maintain clear and detailed knowledge of safety, patient rights, infection control, risk management, equipment usage, and OR standards.
• Work a minimum of 18 hours per month.

Requirements:

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Knowledge of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 60 days of hire.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the operating room as a circulator and scrub nurse.
