Day in the Life- As an LPN, Staff Nurse at Home of the Innocents, you’ll provide high-quality medical care to children and young adults with diverse needs in a supportive, trauma-informed environment.
- You’ll play a vital role in delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring resident progress, and ensuring both the physical and emotional well-being of the children entrusted to our care.

- Night
Shifts:
7 PM – 7 AM - Full-Time: 30 or 36 hours per week
- Deliver compassionate nursing care to children with complex medical needs, ensuring their health, safety, and comfort.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans.
- Provide tracheostomy and ventilator care, with training available for those new to this area.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Foster a nurturing, trauma-informed environment that supports the growth and healing of residents.
- Educate residents and families on managing medical conditions to encourage long-term health outcomes.
- Active, unencumbered LPN license in the State of Kentucky
- CPR/BLS certification required, will be provided if necessary
- Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or long-term care preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn vents, trachs, and medically complex care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for working with children and families
- Commitment to trauma-informed care and collaborative teamwork
