Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN) on the medical unit that specializes in plastics, wound, orthopedics, spine and general surgery, you will provide safe, evidence‑based, patient‑ and family‑centered care. Your duties include assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating individualized care plans using the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care. You will conduct patient education, promote comfort and satisfaction, and provide mentorship and precepting for licensed and non‑licensed staff.

In addition, the RN supports the unit’s financial stability and contributes to a culture of quality improvement and practice governance.

• Full‑time or part‑time RN positions:
  No prior experience required. PRN positions require at least one year of RN or LPN experience in an inpatient, acute‑care setting.
• Diploma or associate degree in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license in Kentucky.
