This position involves working in an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. The facility is dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced severe injuries or illnesses. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment tailored to individual needs. Patients typically recover from conditions such as stroke, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. The goal is to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those served.

The unit features a 14 or 12-bed configuration with specific patient ratios. The equipment includes an EKG machine, bladder scanner, and electronic health records. The patient population primarily consists of adults aged 18 years and older. Candidates must be critical thinkers with prior hospital experience preferred. Rehabilitation experience is advantageous, especially with common diagnoses such as amputations and strokes. All team members are expected to wear royal blue scrubs and follow unit protocols upon arrival.
