Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional caregiving through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The staff RN utilizes technology, therapeutic interventions, evidence-based practice, and coordination with other health team members to deliver safe and effective nursing care.
Responsibilities- Assess patient’s physical, social, and psychological status, including cognitive, communicative, and developmental skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, include patients and families, to develop individualized care plans.
- Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration.
- Provide or delegate care consistent with the care plan and professional licensure provisions.
- Manage time, supplies, and resources to coordinate and organize patient care delivery.
- Evaluate patient response to interventions, review achievement of goals, and revise care plans as needed.
- Document care accurately and timely, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
- Promote the nursing profession and participate in the development of others.
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required as of April 27, 2025, unless hired or promoted prior to that date when earlier requirements applied.
- Less than 12 months of experience requires completion of a BSN within four (4) years of hire date.
- Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of employment start.
The position requires the employee to see and read information, assess patient needs, operate monitors, and identify equipment. Frequent interaction with patients and visitors is required, including verbal communication and understanding of alarms and spoken information. Manual dexterity is essential for manipulating delicate equipment and frequent computer use. The employee must be able to lift, carry, and mobilize patients, push and pull gurneys and equipment, and stand for extended periods.
Driving may be required for certain roles, requiring the ability to see and read signs and traffic signals.

Scheduled weekly hours: 40 hours
Hourly rate: $37.17 – $56.17 (dependent on experience)
