Responsibilities- Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting and recording electronic displays.
- Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptomatology.
- ACLS, BLS, NIH certification required.
- 2 years recent acute care experience.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
