Schedule/Hours
  • Shift:
  • Weekend rotation:
    Call only—1-2 weeknight call shifts weekly; 1-2 call weekends every six weeks (Saturday 0700 through Monday 0700; 30‑minute response time)
  • Holiday coverage:
    Based on unit needs
  • Scheduling in 6‑week increments
Qualifications
  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Cath Lab (ICU >1 year preferred; will consider 2-3 years Cardiac Stepdown)
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
  • RCIS or CI certification preferred, not required
  • Proficiency in monitoring and sedation
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide care for adult patients (rarely under 18) undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor patients, manage sedation, and utilize Cerner EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell dispensing, McKesson hemodynamic systems, GE/Siemens C‑arms
  • Float to University Hospital or EP Lab as needed
  • Participate in department orientation and Neo Onboarding
