Stepdown RN – 13‑Week Local Contract (Louisville, KY)

Medical Solutions is looking for a contract RN Stepdown nurse to work 36 hours per week during a 13‑week assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. The shift schedule is 12 hours in the day, and the position is a local contract.

• Provide clinical nursing care to patients in a step‑down unit.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, record vital signs, and report significant changes to supervising physicians.
• Assist with patient discharge planning and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

• Active RN license in the state of Kentucky.
• Experience in a step‑down or intermediate care setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a rotating schedule.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
