American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of acute care experience and multiple advanced certifications.

• Adults-only side of the department
• Night shift, 6:45pm-7:15am
• Every other weekend required
• 36 hours per week, 3 shifts of 12 hours each

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

• Perform patient assessments and reassessments, initiate and adjust care plans, and monitor clinical responses
• Provide patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff while mentoring and precepting team members
• Participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family-centered care
