Key Responsibilities of the RN – ER/ED

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting

Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition

Requirements of the RN – ER/ED

Active RN license in the state of Kentucky

BLS certification

Minimum of 1 year of recent ER/ED nursing experience
