American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a KY or compact RN license, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications, and Epic experience.

• Work in the Emergency Department (ED/ER) of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 6:45pm-7:15am
• Every other weekend required per unit schedule
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• Uses Epic EMR system

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care ED RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

• Provide safe, effective patient and family-centered care in a fast-paced ED environment
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments, initiate and revise plans of care, and monitor clinical interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate patient/family education throughout care and discharge
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff, mentor and precept team members, and support quality and safety improvement initiatives
• Participate in a Practice Governance model and comply with regulatory standards
