The Eye Care Educator provides critical support to educate and inspire Eye Care Professionals (ECP) on the management of cancer patients with Relapsed Refractory Multiple Myeloma (RRMM). The role focuses on training health care professionals to conduct eye exams for patients on OAEs and communicating results to the Hematology/Oncology teams.

Role Overview
  • Lead and empower: Educate ECPs on essential eye exams and provide actionable guidance for communicating results.
  • Impactful training: Deliver tailored educational materials to equip HCPs with a thorough understanding of patient care procedures.
  • Collaborate for clarity: Partner with Oncology Account Managers and the Medical team to ensure seamless communication of product-related information, including REMS details, aligned with FDA guidance.
  • Support care coordination as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree (4‑year BA/BS) required.
  • 3+ years in optometry, ophthalmology, or nursing with focus on oncology or specialized medical education.
  • Alternatively, 1–3 years of direct clinical oncology experience including oncology education, patient care, and physician interaction.
  • Advanced communication skills to explain complex oncology concepts to ECPs and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience developing and delivering product‑specific training and educational materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all management levels.
Desired Requirements
  • Specialty pharmacy/payer experience preferred.
  • Clinical experience as CRN, NPs, or PAs with eye care experience highly preferred.
