American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.

• Work in the Emergency Department (ED) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts
• Required to work every other weekend per unit guidelines
• Non-billable orientation applies

• Active KY or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of acute care ED RN experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Deliver safe, effective, patient and family-centered emergency care
• Perform assessments and reassessments, and independently prioritize interventions
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions
• Provide patient and family education related to care, treatment, and discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and serve as a mentor/preceptor
• Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
• Comply with regulatory standards and organizational practice governance model
