Key responsibilities of the RN – Cath Lab include:
- Monitor patient status and provide sedation during procedures
- Collaborate with charge nurses, RT, hospitalists, intensivists, NPs, fellows, and cardiologists
- Engage in a team environment with support from a nurse manager
- Utilize technology, including EMR (Cerner), IV pumps (Alaris), and Omnicell medication dispensing
- Participate in weekend and on-call rotations
Requirements of the RN – Cath Lab include:
- Active RN license
- 2 years Cath Lab experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Preferred: RCIS or CI certification
