Key responsibilities of the RN – Cath Lab include:

• Monitor patient status and provide sedation during procedures
• Collaborate with charge nurses, RT, hospitalists, intensivists, NPs, fellows, and cardiologists
• Engage in a team environment with support from a nurse manager
• Utilize technology, including EMR (Cerner), IV pumps (Alaris), and Omnicell medication dispensing
• Participate in weekend and on-call rotations

Requirements of the RN – Cath Lab include:

• Active RN license
• 2 years Cath Lab experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Preferred: RCIS or CI certification
