RoleSummary:
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care focused on the holistic well-being of patients, fostering a caring environment centered on healing and wellness. She/he respects the dignity and individuality of each patient, addressing mind, body, and spirit. Nursing practices are grounded in evidence-based research, hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The nurse utilizes all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking, and creativity in clinical decision-making.
Promoting nursing excellence, the nurse fosters collaborative relationships among staff and disciplines, embodying compassion, respect, and empathy to support a healing environment.
- Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Some RN roles may require maintaining Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Please consult departmental guidelines.
