Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an RN - Operating Room with 2+ years OR experience and Epic proficiency for a day shift position with occasional call.

• Active KY or Compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Surgical Services department within an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 6:30am-5pm, four 10-hour shifts per week
• No weekend shifts required
• Call required up to 40 hours on a 6-week rotating schedule
• Uses Epic EMR
• Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation in the OR setting
• Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel and serves as a mentor/preceptor
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family needs
• Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
• Complies with regulatory standards and organizational practice governance model
