American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring KY or compact RN license, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and two years of acute care and Epic experience.

• Emergency Department (ED/ER) setting in a hospital environment
• Night shift, 18:45-07:15, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
• Minimum two years of Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care using the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care
• Monitor and document patient response to clinical interventions
• Provide patient and family education related to care, treatment, and discharge
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and serve as mentor/preceptor
• Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives within a Practice Governance model
