American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring two years of acute neuro ICU experience and two years of Epic EMR experience.
Details- Work in the Neuro ICU unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 18:45-07:15, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Active RN license (KY or compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
- Minimum two years of acute neuro ICU experience required
- Minimum two years of Epic EMR experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
- Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation for a group of patients
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and patient/family to deliver patient and family-centered care
- Provides patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
- Supervises and delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff, functioning as mentor/preceptor
- Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts and complies with regulatory standards
- Non-billable orientation required prior to starting assignment
