Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room professional requiring a KY or compact RN license, two years of OR experience, and two years of EPIC experience.

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum two years of OR (Operating Room) experience required
• Minimum two years of EPIC EMR experience required
• Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

• Surgical Services department at a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 06:30-19:00, three days per week
• 36 hours per week on a 13-week assignment
• Call requirements include 36 hours of evening/overnight call per 6 weeks and every 6th weekend
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
• Supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members
• Provides mentoring and precepting to staff
• Facilitates patient and family education specific to care needs and discharge planning
• Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts
• Applies the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care in patient care delivery
• Non-billable orientation applies
