Travel RN - Neuro ICU

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring two years of acute neuro ICU experience and two years of Epic EMR experience.

• Active RN license (KY or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
• Minimum two years of acute neuro ICU experience required
• Minimum two years of Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

• Work in the Neuro ICU unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 18:45-07:15, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation for a group of patients
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and patient/family to deliver patient and family-centered care
• Provides patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
• Supervises and delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff, functioning as mentor/preceptor
• Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts and complies with regulatory standards
• Non-billable orientation required prior to starting assignment
