American Traveler is hiring an RN
- Telemetry for a Post Acute Neuro unit requiring 2 years of acute care RN experience and KY or compact licensure.

• Post Acute Neuro unit with 30 beds and a 5:1 patient ratio
• Patient population includes neuro and oncology diagnoses
• RN reads telemetry with no titration responsibilities
• Administers BP meds, heparin, pain medications, and chemo (certified staff only)
• Uses IV pumps, PCA pumps, dynamaps, and feeding pumps
• Uses Epic EMR
• Night shift schedule from 6:45p-7:15a, 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts
• Required to work every other weekend

• Active RN license (KY or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical outcomes
• Provides patient and family education throughout care and at discharge
• Mentors and precepts staff while fostering teamwork and collaboration
• Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Participates in quality improvement and regulatory compliance efforts
• Local candidates accepted at full rate
