American Traveler is hiring an RN
- Telemetry for a night shift inpatient unit requiring 2 years of acute care RN tele experience and Epic proficiency.

• 25-bed inpatient unit with a 5-6:1 patient ratio
• Urology/colorectal patient population including bladder/colon resections, TURPs, and amputations
• RN responsible for reading and titrating telemetry
• Medications administered include IV antibiotics, pain medications, antihypertensives, and anticoagulants
• Equipment used includes IV pumps, walkers, and gait belts
• EPIC EMR used
• Night shift, 6:45pm-7:15am
• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No local rate drop

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of acute care inpatient telemetry RN experience
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
• EPIC EMR experience required

• Perform patient assessments and reassessments per policy and as warranted by patient condition
• Initiate, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor, document, and evaluate patient response to clinical interventions
• Provide patient and family education throughout care and at discharge
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and function as a mentor/preceptor
• Participate in a teamwork-oriented culture and Practice Governance model
• Engage in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
