American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.

• Emergency Department (ED/ER) setting
• Mid-shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift, totaling 36 hours weekly
• Weekend shifts required per unit need
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of acute care ED RN experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Perform patient assessments and reassessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and patient families to coordinate care
• Provide patient and family education related to treatment and discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff while mentoring and precepting
• Participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
• Comply with regulatory standards and the facility's Practice Governance model
