American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of acute inpatient ICU experience and Epic proficiency.
Details- Work in the Intensive/Critical Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 6:45pm-7:15am, three days per week
- Every other weekend required
- 36 hours per week on a 13-week assignment
- Uses Epic EMR
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient ICU RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions
- Provide patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
- Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff while mentoring and precepting team members
- Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
- Comply with regulatory standards and practice governance model
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family needs
