Supplier Quality Manager

Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring that suppliers continue to develop and implement best practice that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and provide for continuous improvements and continue to meet quality standards required to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to.

• Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products.
• Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
• Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
• Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products.
• Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods.
• Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct.
• Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards.
• Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience working with quality systems.

• Bachelors’ degree preferred.
• ASQ certification preferred.

Quality Supervisor, QC Coordinator, QC Inspector

Subjected to lifting fifty (50) pounds, Repetitive bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, standing, and sitting, with or without accommodation.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
