• Review and witness construction and repair activities for compliance with international codes and standards such as ASME Code, Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), and Canadian Standards.
• Perform inspections in accordance with client specifications and provide engineering services as required.
• Review job packages, conduct in‑process inspections, monitor quality control systems, witness final hydrostatic tests, and sign required forms.
• Review NDE reports and related calculations.

• High school diploma.
• Experience with high pressure boilers and pressure vessels.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of ASME & NBIC codes and RCI‑1 requirements for AI/RI examinations.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with an ASME background or Navy or equivalent “A” school background.
• Physical ability to move around sites, work in outdoor conditions, lift own body weight with safety equipment, and remain stationary 50% of the time.

• Technical college graduate or engineering degree.
• Experience with boilers and pressure vessels, risk survey experience, and knowledge of the NBIC Commission and “A” endorsement.
• State Certificate of Competency and National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors Commission with “A” Endorsement.

• Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
• Acceptable driving record and willingness to travel between customer sites; may be provided a company vehicle or use personal vehicle for business.
