Summary

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. This role supports manufacturing operations through detailed inspections, documentation, and continuous quality improvement efforts.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
  • Verify product specifications using precision measurement tools and testing equipment.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Identify non-conforming materials and assist with corrective action activities.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Support root cause investigations and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Review production documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Participate in internal quality audits and continuous improvement programs.
  • Monitor quality performance metrics and prepare inspection reports.
  • Maintain calibration records for inspection equipment.
  • Promote adherence to workplace safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
  • 25 years of experience in Quality Control or Manufacturing Inspection.
  • Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and inspection methodologies.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or related field is preferred.
  • ASQ Quality certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
