Legal Research Assistant

Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Legal Research Assistant to support research and analysis. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys in-depth research, problem-solving, and managing multiple active matters in a dynamic, high-volume setting.

• Perform comprehensive conflicts of interest searches for new hires, new clients, and new matters for existing clients.
• Review and analyze conflicts documentation for accuracy and completeness; follow up as needed.
• Communicate directly with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, regarding conflicts status and clearance timelines.
• Assist with onboarding processes related to client and matter intake.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve conflicts issues and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Manage multiple active matters at once, often across a wide variety of industries and client types.
• Maintain detailed records and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.

• Bachelor’s degree required (Liberal Arts or research-focused disciplines strongly preferred).
• Strong interest in research and analytical work; familiarity with research databases is a plus.
• Previous customer service experience required (retail, hospitality, or other fast-paced environments welcome).
• Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
