Overview
The Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager is a hybrid position that is responsible for maintaining and growing a medium/large book of business. This position provides a high level of support at direction of Account Executive and Producer along with direct customer service to clients. Duties include working with Producer to design proper insurance/risk management services for clients along with customer service in coordination with other agency personnel.
As a Senior Account Manager, you have product knowledge and are familiar with products offered by carriers. You assist in production and renewal accounts, paralleling, agency and individual Producer goals and can assist clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts. In addition, you are responsible for administrative support for Account Executives and Senior Account Executives.

- Take a leadership role in the renewal process to ensure the best possible solutions are delivered to clients in high quality and timely manner.
- Secure existing business and drive the sale of additional services and lines of coverage.
- Nurture relationships with your buyer in the client organization as well as with the day-to-day client representatives.
- Guide your team members in addressing a client’s risk management needs through consultative conversations.
- Mentor Client Service team members through continuous learning, transparent feedback, and strong talent development.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance standards and service levels are met.
- Maintain accurate client and policy data and documents within Gallagher systems.
- Use Gallagher's technology to improve your productivity and quality.
- High School degree/GED with a minimum 5-10 years client service and/or claims management experience.
- Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
