** Senior Sales Executive
** who knows the Louisville fire alarm and security integration market —the players, the customers, the consultants, the GCs, and the opportunities. This role is for a hunter with credibility, someone who has already built a book of business in life safety and physical security and is ready to scale it with the backing of a growing, multi-state integrator.
This is not an entry-level sales role. This is a market-building role with real autonomy, strong operational support, and leadership visibility. If you thrive on relationships, complex solutions, and closing meaningful deals—you’ll feel right at home.
---## What You’ll Do### Market Expansion & Sales Leadership
* Own and grow the Louisville, KY market for IPS, serving as the primary sales leader and relationship driver in the region.
* Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, and integrated life-safety systems.
* Build strong relationships with end users, GCs, electrical contractors, consultants, property managers, and AHJs.
* Identify new opportunities across service, retrofit, and new construction projects.### Business Development & Deal Execution
* Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to proposal, negotiation, and close.
* Collaborate with IPS engineering, service, and project teams to deliver smart, compliant, and competitive solutions.
* Represent IPS professionally in the Louisville market through networking, industry events, and local partnerships.
* Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasts using IPS CRM tools.### Collaboration & Brand Building
* Act as the
** face of IPS in Louisville**, helping establish brand presence and market credibility.
* Partner with operations and leadership to ensure a smooth handoff from sale to execution.
* Provide market intelligence and feedback to help shape IPS’s regional growth strategy.## Qualifications## What We’re Looking For###
Required Qualifications
* ** 5+ years of successful sales experience
** in the
** life safety and physical security industry**.
* Strong working knowledge of: + Fire Alarm Systems + Access Control + Video Surveillance + Integrated Security Solutions
* Established
** relationships and market knowledge specific to Louisville, KY**.
* Proven ability to consistently close complex, solution-based sales.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate independently while collaborating with a larger team.### Preferred (But Not Required)
* Prior experience working with a regional or multi-state systems integrator.
* Experience selling into healthcare, education, industrial, or commercial markets.
* Familiarity with long-cycle sales and construction/project-driven environments.
