Position Summary
Vice President – Strategic Accounts (enterprise precision medicine partnerships across surgery, pathology, and oncology). Own executive relationships and drive adoption of Caris molecular diagnostics and precision oncology solutions.
Job Responsibilities- Own executive (C-suite/admin) relationships with strategic accounts (CEOs/CMOs/COOs/CFOs, cancer center and lab leadership, health system administrators).
- Develop and execute enterprise account strategies across surgical workflows, pathology operations, and oncology care delivery.
- Identify opportunities to integrate molecular profiling/precision oncology into clinical pathways and system protocols.
- Lead QBRs on performance, utilization, outcomes, and growth initiatives.
- Use account/regional data to find growth opportunities, adoption barriers, and productivity gaps.
- Partner with Regional Business Directors on planning, prioritization, and execution.
- Provide indirect leadership/mentorship to field Oncology Account Executives and Case Managers.
- Serve as primary project owner for initiatives (account onboarding, program launches, workflow optimization, EMR integrations, service improvements).
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery (Operations, Client Services, Laboratory, Medical Affairs, IT, Marketing).
- Define scope/timelines/deliverables/success metrics; track via CRM and project tools.
- Support complex deal strategy/value positioning and institutional decision navigation.
- Act as senior escalation point for strategic accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree (life sciences/business/related).
- 5–7+ years in strategic account management/oncology diagnostics/precision medicine/complex healthcare sales.
- Strong knowledge of molecular diagnostics, NGS, oncology workflows, and pathology/lab operations.
- Proven growth in complex matrixed environments; influence without authority.
- CRM/reporting proficiency (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office.
- Ability to complete pre-employment checks (background/drug/reference).
- MBA or advanced degree; PMP/project management training.
- Experience with enterprise/health-system partnerships; relationships in academic medical centers or large integrated delivery networks.
- Significant regional travel (>50%); occasional evening/weekend/holiday work; after-hours responsiveness as needed.
- Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 25 lbs occasionally.
