Adjunct Faculty - General Chemistry Lab

Job Description

Candidates should be capable of teaching general chemistry, including laboratories designed for science majors, non‑science majors, and health science majors. They must be familiar with general chemistry instrumentation and teaching general chemistry concepts alongside laboratory instruction. Class day and times are flexible based on the availability of the instructor.

• Facilitate hands‑on laboratory sessions, instructing students on safety, experimental procedures, and equipment usage.
• Prepare laboratory materials and grade laboratory reports.
• Enforce safety protocols and support lecture concepts.
• Maintain flexibility in class days and times based on instructor availability.
• Require a degree in chemistry and strong communication skills.

• MS in Chemistry;
  PhD preferred but not required, with appropriate teaching experience.
