, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and digital services location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help manage visitor activity while supporting a professional environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity, all while delivering customer service in an agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with visitor intake, entry documentation, and/or escort coordination in alignment with site access policies and confidentiality expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security‑related concerns according to post instructions.

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
