As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. This fast‑paced logistics and distribution location requires monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and helping support a secure environment through strong communication and customer service. The post requires a valid driver’s license.

$18.75 / Hour

Day Time – Mon 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM;
Tue 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM;
Wed 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM;
Thur 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM;
Fri 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, access points, trailer yards, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and deliveries, verifying credentials, following access protocols, and reporting discrepancies according to site procedures.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing facility activity, reporting hazards or concerns, and assisting with security‑related incidents involving packages, vehicles, and property.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
