Job DescriptionAs a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver in Louisville, KY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security‑related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility and technology‑related location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter points, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies.
- Prepare accurate reports for incidents, observations, patrol activities, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
