Boss Truck Shops is looking for Mobile Maintenance Technicians. Whether you are starting your career as a Diesel Technician or are an experienced industry veteran, Boss Shop has a position for you. Responsibilities- Performs preventive maintenance (PM) inspections.
- Greases trucks and trailers.
- Performs tire services.
- Conducts electrical, brake, wheel end/seal evaluation and repair.
- Performs all minor repairs.
- Conducts trailer body work including replacing panels, posts, cross rails, side rails, and roof sections.
- Completes complex welding such as rail section repairs of aluminum rails, setting, welding snagging and brake chamber brackets in place.
- Performs CSA/DOT inspections according to outlined regulations.
- Maintains a clean, uncluttered mobile maintenance vehicle and keeps equipment in proper working order.
- Sells tires and parts, ensuring profit margins are maintained and trade guidelines are followed.
- Ensures all service materials are stored properly.
- Completes work orders with customer information, labor performed, parts used, and any warranty-related details; provides photos when necessary.
- Ensures total customer satisfaction and the integrity of Boss Truck Shops.
- Adheres to company safety policies and procedures.
- Stays current on LMS training and provides friendly, competent customer service.
- Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled.
Job Duties
- Assists in other duties as assigned.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Must have at least two (2) years diesel tech experience.
- Must be Tire Service Certified by TIA.
- Must have DOT Medical Card.
- Successful completion of the Boss Truck Shops Tech I and II training program.
- Complete OSHA Skills Demonstration.
- Ability to attend HVAC, Electrical and DOT training.
- Ability to obtain ASE, DOT, TIA and other certifications.
- Valid driver’s license and be insurable to drive.
- Must be skilled in welding.
- Able to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed.
- Must have reliable transportation and phone.
- Must be able to communicate in English.

- Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
