Industrial Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing the electrical systems within our facility.

This is a great opportunity to join a premier Industrial environment in the Louisville area. Hours for 1st shift are flexible. We are open to you starting earlier and getting out earlier, or starting later and getting out later.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
• Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Stay updated on the latest electrical codes and safety regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program is preferred.
• Valid electrician's license or certification in the state of Kentucky.
• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.

Salary info:

$38 - $42 / hr
