General Job Description
We are actively hiring Electrical Helpers for our team in Louisville, KY and are looking for dependable individuals who are ready to start quickly. This is a great opportunity to learn the electrical trade, gain hands‑on field experience, and grow your career in the electrical industry. You will work alongside experienced electricians while helping complete residential electrical installations and supporting the field crew.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Assist in house rough‑in work, including measuring, cutting, and pulling wire.
- Install trim components such as plugs, lights, fixtures, and switches.
- Carry materials and tools to support the leadman and crew.
- Clean and maintain the work area and equipment.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with the leadman and team members.
- Communicate progress, issues, and solutions to management when needed.
- Follow company safety policies and promptly report hazards.
- Take direction effectively and contribute to a productive team environment.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Years of Experience0‑2 years.
Qualifications & Skills- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Electrical experience and knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical layouts preferred.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and climb throughout the workday.
- Lift, carry, and move materials and tools up to 50 pounds.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Work at heights using ladders and lifts on multi‑story residential construction sites.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing job duties.
- Maintain consistent attendance and stamina for full work shifts.
