Paid at 1.5X hourly rate for hours worked over 40 and 2X for hours over 50 (travel time counts towards working hours! Responsibilities Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial packaging equipment at customer facilities throughout the United States Perform equipment startups and ensure machines are operating to customer specifications Train customers on proper equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues in the field Provide technical phone support when not traveling Conduct quality inspections on equipment prior to shipment Communicate effectively with customers and internal engineering and service teams to resolve technical issues Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records Travel up to 75% nationwide after completing a comprehensive paid training program based in Louisville, KY
Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar industrial equipment role Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience Experience working with PLCs, including troubleshooting and basic logic modifications Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints Excellent customer service and communication skills Comfortable working independently while representing the company at customer sites Proficient with basic computer applications Must be authorized to work in the United States Preferred Experience Packaging equipment experience Technical degree or formal training in electrical, electronics, automation, or industrial maintenance Experience with machine installation, commissioning, and customer training
