About the Role:Fleet Pride is seeking a Diesel Technician III — a senior-level technician with the experience and confidence to diagnose, repair, and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues independently. This role supports medium- and heavy-duty equipment, including tractors, trailers, and box trucks, in a high-volume shop environment.
As a Level III technician, you’ll be trusted with advanced diagnostics, major component repairs, and mentoring of junior technicians — without being tied to nights or weekends.

- 7+ years of diesel technician experience (MD/HD preferred).
- Proven ability to perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs with minimal supervision.
- Experience mentoring or guiding other technicians.
- Strong communication with service managers, writers, and customers.
- Ability to provide your own tools and toolbox.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- CDL A or B preferred (not required).
- Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and highly efficient work ethic.
- Electrical diagnostics & schematic interpretation.
- Advanced air brake systems.
- Brakes, wheel ends, and suspension.
- Steering & alignment.
- Cooling and A/C systems.
- Drivetrain diagnostics & repairs.
- Transmissions, clutches, differentials.
- Aftertreatment systems (DPF, DEF, SCR).
- Upper & lower engine work.
- OEM diagnostic software familiarity.
- DOT inspections and compliance.
