Foreman, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor, Heavy Equipment Operator

You don't need to know everything about our business. You do need to know how to lead a crew and get work done.

Material Recycling Solutions is looking for an experienced, hands-on Foreman who knows how to organize people, operate equipment, solve problems, and keep a job moving safely.

Maybe your background is construction.

Maybe it's industrial work, demolition, material handling, recycling, machinery moving, or another hands-on field environment.

We're less concerned about where you learned to lead than whether you know how to lead when the work starts.

If you're comfortable around equipment, understand jobsite safety, know how to keep people productive, and aren't afraid to work alongside your crew when the situation calls for it, we want to talk with you.

As a Foreman with Material Recycling Solutions, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day execution of field projects.

You’ll:

• Lead and direct field crews throughout daily project activities.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and work priorities.
• Assign work and make sure crew members understand what needs to be accomplished.
• Organize jobsite setup, execution, cleanup, and daily activities.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling or construction equipment when needed.
• Assist with moving, loading, unloading, positioning, and handling machinery, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor progress and communicate jobsite needs, challenges, and delays to management.
• Read and follow project plans, work instructions, and equipment requirements.
• Maintain accountability for company tools and equipment.
• Assist with basic rigging activities when applicable.

And yes, you'll work alongside the crew when necessary.

We're looking for a Foreman, not someone who intends to supervise the job from the truck.

As the Foreman, you'll set expectations for how the work gets done. That includes conducting daily safety discussions, recognizing jobsite hazards, reinforcing safe work practices, and making sure company and customer requirements are followed.

Your crew will take its cues from you.

We need someone who understands that safety isn't something you talk about before the work starts.

It's part of how the work gets done.

You don't need twenty years of specialized rigging experience to succeed in this position.

You do need field experience, equipment knowledge, leadership ability, and good judgment.

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Previous experience as a Foreman, Leadman, Crew Leader, or similar field leader.
• Experience in construction, industrial work, demolition, machinery moving, material handling, recycling, or a related field.
• Experience operating construction or industrial equipment.
• A strong understanding of jobsite and equipment safety.
• The ability to organize, direct, and communicate effectively with a field crew.
• Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
• The ability to adapt when the plan changes or something unexpected happens.
• Comfort working outdoors and in active industrial environments.
• A willingness to perform the physical work associated with field construction and material handling.
• Experience with rigging, machinery moving, crane support, or heavy haul is a plus.
