As a Concrete General Laborer at Thompson, your primary responsibility will be to work as a member of a team to build high-quality residential foundations around the Louisville area.
Additional duties include- Coordinating with Crew Leaders to learn the full scope of project
- Driving company vehicles to transport crew to and from jobsites (optional)
- Loading, unloading and distributing various types of material and tools
- Setting up concrete retaining panels according to project blueprints
- Using various types of hand tools, such as hammers & measuring tapes
- Pouring, spreading, raking, and inspecting freshly poured concrete
- Spraying sealants and other chemicals on panels before and after use
- Keeping jobsite organized and properly securing tools & material
- To qualify as a Laborer/Driver, you must possess a valid Driver's License and have no major incidents or accidents within the past 5 years (does not apply to non-driving Laborers)
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds continuously
- Must be willing to work Overtime (between 45-55 hours per week)
- Must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
6am to at least 3pm, Mon-Fri (end time will vary depending on the day)
